If you were to ask most healthcare agencies about being Cultural and Linguistic Responsive, I bet that many are unsure of the specific knowledge and behaviors implied by that term. There are many federal and state laws and rulings and individual departments, divisions and agency policies that are created to ensure that Cultural and Linguistic Responsiveness is being addressed. But despite all of that, many still struggle to make sense of it all.
